The winter holiday season can be an inspirational time. It marks the celebration of light, the reawakening of spirit and a deepening in our own personal paths. During this reflective and yet celebratory time, we connect with family, friends and loved ones to share our closeness. It is also the time of year when people do a significant amount of shopping to commemorate these special holidays. They will be visiting your store and business for the unique products and services you bring to this blessed time of year. Create the Holiday Magic that will help your store stand out as a gift sanctuary. Provide your customers with special thematic gift packages that inspire their purchases and delight their loved ones.

DEVELOP CUSTOM GIFT THEMES
Your intuition coupled with personal knowledge of your clientele will help you develop surprising, delightful and unpredictable holiday gift packages that will charm your customers and generate sales. Dedicate a few moments for some intuitive time to create your own gift package themes.

Take several slow, centering breaths. With a soft, meditative focus, tune into how your customers shop. Notice what they do and how they move through your store. One theme for your holiday magic package can be attracting and increasing abundance and prosperity. Your customers may have friends who are starting a new business and they want to support their prosperous beginnings. They may have loved-ones in transition who could use new energies to help them attract more wealth. Prosperity is an important human focus and gift choices with this theme can help your customers share abundance.

Imagine a table covered with purple or green or both.  Place amethyst geodes, aventurine polished stones and beautiful crystals on the table. Incorporate magical incenses and candles that attract wealth and display them with candle holders and incense burners. Next, introduce books that focus on creating intentions, attracting prosperity and work with candle magic. Include jewelry, purses and charms to add to the abundance effect. Add boxes, bags and cards to the display and help your clients assemble a custom abundance gift package for their loved ones.

ECO-ENCHANTMENTS
Holidays are the perfect time to Go Green. You can create very special Eco-Enchantment packages that are ready-made for your customers. Decorate the table with greens and earth tones. Find the right sized woven basket, metal container or recycled box for your environmental gift package. Include books on the environment, gardening, green building, organic foods, natural skin care or sustainable living.  Introduce a celebration of the elements by adding organically grown flower seeds or recycled paper gift cards – for the earth element; herbal teas or organic bath salts - for water; a sage stick and abalone shell – for air; and soy candles for fire, and your package will honor the four elements and directions. Include Native American flute music, a drumming cd or choose environmental soundscapes like ocean and thunderstorms to heighten the eco-experience.

Add crystals and river rocks and create several store-made packages for your customers to enjoy. If you donate to or support a green charity, make sure you include that information on a card. Create gift packages that celebrate the Goddess in every woman and design a collection dedicated to the Divine Female.
